I know that some people go out of there way to buy clothes or change their appearance to stand out among the crowd. In response to the thread on being a Ginger, I wanted to ask how to react to a positive physical peacock aspect.
I am the definition of the Arian race. I have dirty blonde hair and EXTREMELY blue eyes. Think of the sky as light blue as you've ever seen it and mine are bluer. My high school friends used to call me Hitler's wetdream. lol. Anyway, I get a lot of comments from HB's (AI-approach invitation). Most will come and and be like, "Wow you have the bluest eyes I've ever seen!" or "Your eyes are sooo blue...are the REAL?". If they ask "Are they real", I usually am like "no these are my fake eyes, I just like to switch up the color." Other than that, I haven't come up with anything witty enough to say about myself without sounding arrogant or ending a conversation. "Thanks" or "I know" are the bare minimum that can get me out of the embarrassing self-evaluation state and onto some other topic where I can flirt with them about something other than my eyes. Also, I can't be like "Oh yours are great too" because that sounds too BS.
Don't get me wrong I love my eyes. Before college, a women working for a modeling agency approached me because of my eyes and offered me a TFP (basically a free photoshoot). I guess what I'm asking is if you are complimented on something about you, how do you take the compliment smoothly like a PUA and transition into regular conversation. I'd like to know for my case, when someone comments on my blue eyes, or if a girl comes up and is like I (or my friend) thinks your hott! Both leave me speechless, as I am both flattered and at a loss of words at such an open-ended statement.
Oh yeah, if anyone knows how to take the blue eye compliment without flirting (as when like one of my friends' moms says something) include that too. That's not exactly PUA stuff, just how to avoid the embarrassment from mom compliments lol.
