Is it that hard to write a FR? The point of a lair is to help and share with your fellow PUAs. In a tribe of cavemen, the man who doesn't hunt doesn't eat. A man who doesn't contribute to the tribe has no value to it.
Although I don't post a FR every time I go out, I've come up with a guideline that I use to decide what goes up: when a night goes really well and I have insights into what I did correctly, or when something happens that I want opinions on. Most of my posts have to do with giving advice/opinions, trying to help, and aren't FRs. In the time I've been here I would say that written enough posts to be able to claim I'm committed to it.
IMO I would rather see a small group of guys dedicated to helping others than a large group of guys who don't contribute. In thinking about the ranking system, the first thing that comes to mind is that it doesn't matter anyway. If I'm listed as an MPUA or a total AFC, it won't incent me to change what I do anyway; it won't change my core values.
That said, my thinking is that the AFC levels should be set by # of posts, and that you need to have a further qualification to progress beyond that. Things like coming to meetups and sharing what you've learned, being asked to instruct at a meetup (and doing it to the best of your ability), that sort of thing. At least that way a member can know who the committed people are, and who the lurkers are.
The four agreements:
1. Be impeccable with your words and deeds.
2. Never take anything personally.
3. Never make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.
