If you are talking to a girl about 3 inches away from your face and looking at her eyes and she looks at yours; and then she keeps darting her eyes down to your lips as you talk and then back up and then back down...is that considered a legit IOI? even if it comes from a girl that just considers you a friend?

He mentioned two IOIs IMO. If her face is 3 inches from yours, that is probably an IOI also. With the exception of dancing, only people in intimacy share that kind of distance. I do not know anyone I have ever talked to with that small of distance between our faces, besides my ex girl friend.
But I am no expert. Thats just my opinion. Smirks probably knows more on this situation than I do lol.

i agree with smirks, its hard to say in this situation because you say that she is a "friend"
but typically, if a girl does that, its a sign that she wants to kiss; same as if youre talking and she applies lip gloss, licks her lips, etc...its subconcious...

Most girls make and keep amazing eye contact. For some reason I am always amazed every time. I guess girls are trained better than guys. I can't recall a girl ever doing what you are saying. Of course I am horrible at maintaining eye contact and usually look at the lips so there is a chance I just never see it happening.
Like Smirks said was she doing anything else? Touching your arm? Even with this if she is your friend I would expect her to touch your arm in friendly conversation.
If this is a good friend I would want to make certain she was into you before you make any move.

hmmm maybe thats why she decided to look like Tomb Raider yesterday...yea we were just at the library tryin to study and when id turn to her to say something shed somtimes look down at my lips...but I hope smirk is WRONG about maybe my breathe wasnt up to par and she noticed and reacted lol...im seeing her today for the same thing...lets see if it happens again...im also going on a "date" (god i hate that word)...with this girl at the House of Blues...Live is performing...any tips/advice? its a online girl by the way so we never seen each other but she texts me all the time but ive played it cool/cockyfunny thus far

1) Be prepared for her to look worse than her worst picture.
2) I once read a study that 2/3s of women ADMIT to having sex with a man that they met off the net on the first date...in my experience, this is absolutely true...I can think of only 1 girl, that I wanted to fuck, that I did not fuck or get head from on the first date out of the numerous chicks I've pulled off the net.

Each time you get her to leave with you, when she didn't plan on doing so before the date started, it ups her comfort with you. It also makes her feel like you're a fun, adventurous guy.
