That's pretty gnarly, Smirks.
Might try a variation on that myself sometime.
-----------
I was at the Dentist on Wed, and wound up getting this really cute assistant doing my cleaning (about my age as well).
All was fine while it was just me an her in the room, as she did her thing and I just shot the bull and teased with her in the time her hands weren't in my mouth.
It was kind of funny to see the pauses for 'suction breaks' get longer and longer as time went on (so that we could converse).
Anyway by the time we where done, and the actual dentist came in to look things over, I was getting IOIs left and right...and it was pretty obvious that she was attracted.
All I did was connect with her as though she where any other girl though....found out she used to live in Denton and go to TWU, teased her that if she went to TWU she was probably a lesbian (TWU stereotype) and should really sit down and reconsider all that flirting with me, that sort of thing.
Long story short, I didn't get her number.....my own fault.
At the end of the session, when I might have actually gone for the number, it was me, her, and Dentist (her boss, and someone I've known since I was little) in a small room together. Of course the thought crossed my mind to get the number, but it felt strange with Dentist there so I didn't.
Anyway, as far as I can see, if you break down what makes 'hired guns' different from a girl in any other situation; you wind up with 2 unique challenges:
*they want to sell you something...so they might flirt intentionally, always knowing that they just want to get you to buy
*they are on the job, so the situational is a little unorthodox for a pick-up (most guys don't ask their dentist's assistant out on a date....though this one might not present itself at, say, a restaurant where the waitresses aren't necessarily within hearing range of their boss/co-workers and/or its part of their job to be social).
The reason I mentioned the dentist story is that it was a little unique and gave me some good perspective:
I only had the second challenge (strange situation) and not really the first (trying to sell).
She didn't need to sell anything to me, she just had to clean my teeth.
So the only obstacle I had (and in this case, failed to overcome) was the strange/unorthodox situation of getting her number right in front of her boss where its just us 3 in a small room together.
No real advice from me since I've never pulled a girl on the job before...but just my thoughts on the subject.
