I think what is being discussed here is just more of a partnership. We associate ourselves with say the OK board...and we have them linked on our site, us linked on theirs, and maybe a "PUA Society Member" logo tossed somewhere on the site.
That COULD potentially give traveling pua's an easier road to finding like minded people in a strange town. Any further integration than that would fail immensely.

There have been alot of discussions about making these message boards and forums and Lairs into Men's Social Clubs. And there has also been alot of guys on here who say "Come out with us to the GIANT Cocck Fest"
What I'm going to suggest is not earth shattering, its not new.
You guys wanna get laid, right?
Well you gotta talk to girls in order to get laid. Forming all kinds of Men's Social Clubs and meetups for guys at bars where everyone stands around talkign about game and holding beers to their chests is not the way to go about meeting women.

Uh, Trib, Not to piss in your wheaties, but what does having a link to the Oklahoma board so I can find the 6 (am I being generous?) places to go when I find myself in OKC? I mean, I'm not looking for the national all men hand job patrol or anything.
I go to Minnesota about once every 18 months, a network of lairs would make it easier to find the target rich places to go in Minneapolis and a wing if I want one.

I agree with Neuromancer, I like the idea mainly because I do travel around pretty frequently and it's good to know your target zone ;) Never hurts to have another guy or there for social proof either... and good guys won't cockblock you - that's a total bro code violation ;)
As far as the group goes for those of us who have relocated from other places and work with a bunch of married people, it's a good way to meet and get to know a new social circle, and they're usually higher value guys or guys on their way to being - if you got all the guy friends you need and are really good at pickup, maybe you don't want/need a lair and there's nothing wrong with that. i agree with tribulus to some extent...its definitely not good to roll into a venue with 6-7 guys...pua or not..
but if you were to roll into a venue (say sherlocks) and see some of the guys from the lair, you can go up..say whats up, shake hands or whatever...and then you can break off and go sarge with your wing...i think that by walking into a venue and knowing men of high value (hopefully these members are or have been talking to hb's) is social proof. this can only help your game. i'm not saying stand in circle and jerk off...but everyonce in while, swing by and say "whats up?!" to the guys...maybe chit chat a little...

I used to have exactly the same perspective as you Trib. Mainly because I'd go out in a big group and get blown out all of the time by the very guys I was hanging out with. I felt like I was Gaming guys while I was trying to Game girls. Many times, we'd simply surround the girls and totally overwhelm them. Not to mention the fact that we all sort of acted the same way. Being a savvy, socially secure, and confident guy isn't all that appealing if every one else around is the same way. As such, you lose your uniqueness...you lose that which makes you a PUA.
Eventually though, things changed. I learned to deal with being around a bunch of 'cocks' and I learned how to work with them. It strengthened my Game because I got to see PC, Vector, Ratio, TD, PP, Smirks, the list goes on, work. In the process I also made some kick ass friends.
Now, every time I go out (without my LTR that is) I will more than likely close someone. Further, some of my more successful nights have been when I was sarging with a bunch of 'cocks.'
If you're accustom to running Game with a wing, a sign of weakness in my opinion, then going out and being involved with the 'cock fest' would be no fun. But, if you're used to running Game on your own going with a bunch of dudes that you KNOW that are COOL and approaching on YOUR OWN will definitely be beneficial to your success and development.
The board is one thing. Reading is another. Both are important, but they should be a means to a much bigger end. Said end is simple: getting into the real world.
If you're a poster on here and you NEVER come out, you're doing yourself a disservice because you don't really get to see more experienced guys in action. Further, if you're a poster and you never come out you simply lack credibility. If I see a post from Vector, Alpha, PC, etc, etc, etc then I'm going to READ it because I KNOW them in PERSON. If I've seen you once or twice, or never, no way am I going to spend a lot of time reading your thoughts (obviously this doesn't apply to the younger guys).
One final note. I can name at least 4 different occasions in which I went to Locks with the cock festers and still SNL'd, and I've seen it done many times as well. A good PUA can roll with 20 peeps and still be successful if they do it right. What does that mean? Approach alone, without the group. Then, use the group for social proof (if you so desire).
I've said this many, many times but with a good PUA closing is much like a dog dying. We tend to do it out of sight of everyone else.

That's not the way it goes does. BR is right on...you can SNL from meetups, plenty of the guys have. You are just giving yourself an easy out/excuse. And not that SNLs even are the end all be all of a meetup night.
Also if you want to look at is as 'competition' with the other PUAs that are blowing out a room, well how do you get better at anything, you practice with people better than you (even though we aren't in direct competition.) Take practicing ANY sport as the first example that comes to mind. That's what makes you raise your game. Who cares if you can own a venue in BFE with 'Who lies more' that has never seen a community guy before. All the more reason to work a venue WITH other PUA's and not be able to use any known routines or canned material and push yourself to actually improve and not be dependent on material, but instead just being in the moment and improvising.
It shouldn't matter to a real PUA that 20 newbies tried to run the cube on the girl right before you approached her. :)
And just a comment on the local lair concept. I lurked for years on the national forums, and after discovering the local lair even lurked for months before I made it to a meetup and realized there are alot of great guys here. Now I almost never visit a national forum, and check this quite often to see what's going down with the boys, only because I do know them and are friends.
