Sale rack at metropark, buckle, etc for name brand "high end" t-shirts (Affliction, Monarchy, etc.)
Target and Walmart both occasionally have decent t-shirts, I check both regularly. You can also check
out http://www.designbyhumans.com/ for one example of the online t-shirt design companies
that have some really funky user created designs.
For pants, I just go wherever there is a sale on. I do tend to avoid Walmart for jeans, but I also
don't think that it's necessary to get uber high end jeans either. Just make sure they fit decently
and you're ok. Right now I'm liking the premium line at Steve and Barry's for like $15.
If you see an outfit you really like on a dummy at a store (Macy's, Metropark, whatever) take a
photo with your cel, then duplicate the look with "downscale" buys from less expensive stores.
Women do it *all* the time, there are even regular columns on this in the women's mags.
If a chick is so stuck on high end fashion that she rags me on my jeans or shirts, I look at
it as a shit test and come back with how shallow she is that she only values expensive things, etc.
(Plus she's probably gonna be mondo high maintenance...) As long as you look good, don't let
them have their ideas on fashion change your frame.
