"reason why i ask is the other day i was driving with my friend dan and he threw a banana peel out the window.. i asked him what the hell he was doing and he said it wasn't considered littering because things like banana peels, orange peels, etc., are biodegradable.."

Actually I did have a conversation with a Mr. Police man, and he said it was still littering if it was a bananna peel, even though it was biodegradable.

BTW... Rhody can you move this to General ... I dont know what I was thinking when I started it here.
