I've read most of it. It was the first book I bought about seduction. Before "The Game" was published.

It's sort of an historcal acount of many of the greatest lovers of al time.

It's for both men abd women. IMHO

It's hard to put my finger on what I learned from it, but I did learn.

I read it about 8 months ago. Not a bad read. I remember it profiles the different seduction styles, and when to use each one. Gives a lot of historical examples of each.

I agree with Scoundrel... I can't remember exactly what I learned from it, but I do remember coming away from it enjoying the book.

art of seduction is a tough read...actually i find an robert greene book very hard to understand. i tried reading art of seduction multiple times and always never understood waht he was trying to say. its just a history book, didnt really have much real life translating info in my opinion.

I could not even get through the first couple of chapters. Very hard to read and tiny ass print. Also, what is up with all of the poems and quotes and shit in the margins. I have read The Game and The Mystery Method and have enjoyed both of them immensely as well as learned a ton of practical application stuff.

I am looking for a new book to help me keep my mojo goin' as well as something entertaining. Any other good books out there? How bout the NLP stuff? Anyone get anything good out of those?

I read it. I didn't like it.

One of the things I like about Mystery and the community is there's a realization that the way things work in fairy tales or in Hollywood is not what really works. And that what women say they want is not the same as what they respond to.

As I was explaining to a girl recently, Mystery and the community are in a way like scientists ignoring what popular myth says should work, instead figuring out what actually works through experimentation. Medicine used to employ bleeding and leeches, which had no scientific basis but had enough belief to keep it going. Medicine eventually came around but as far as relationships and sex we're still in the dark ages.

The issue I have with The Art of Seduction is that it's more myth piled upon myth. I don't care what the archetypes for the mythical seducers are. I'm not writing a romance novel. I would much rather learn where the real-life seducers differ from the fairy-tale seducers, because the fairy-tale seduction frame is one of the obstacles I'm trying to overcome.

I couldn't pinpoint how any of it could be used in the field, but it does make for some interesting conversation material.

Yeah my sister got that one for me.. But I'm not much on reading unless it has pictures or is a popup book.
