Cowboys Red River on Thur and Sat

Over the last year Cowboy’s has seen a decline in the number of people. Overall, Thursday and Saturday are still great nights at this place because the girls are looking for someone to open them, but the quality has seen a steady decline. It didn’t help Saturday that Grambling vs. Prairie View A&M was this weekend and Che’ next door was full of people from the game. None the less, my friends and I all rolled into the bar each night ready to work.

None of my friends know the game, and even though I have mentioned it several times they still are not believers. I guess it is hard to be a believer when you have natural game like my friend G-Funk. Nothing about him screams PUA, but the guy manages to pull the hottest girls.

As a classic example of this, a 3 set walked past us holding hands and G-Funk called them out about being stupid for walking around the bar holding hands together. All he actually said was “Look at me… I want attention by holding my girlfriend’s hand”. That was all it took and he had a HB8 in is face, about 5’4”, Bru, cute and all over him. Giving him heavy IOI’s, touching him, and etc… Classic natural game. No work involved and the girl loved him. All he needed was a few more minutes and he could have number closed. God I hate the naturals… haha!

This leads me to the topic of good wing men. The other two kept walking around the bar, stopped and looked the rest of us over. I don’t have natural game and my other friend S-Dog has zero game… but I knew these girls would block, so I warned him in advance, “look these other two girls are going to cock block (CB), so we need to wing G-Funk.” Sure enough here they come… I was already tied up with a 2 set at the bar, but tried to lose the set and help deflect the CB. S-Dog sat there; arms crossed, DLV, and watched the girls pull the HB8 off my friend. I admit, I came in late too and didn’t wing as good as I should, but I was delayed. My point is, if you have a friend, your job is to work with them and not work against them by DLV like a little girl. The sad thing is that S-Dog is a GREAT looking guy. He looks just like Brad Pitt… but he sucks when you are out with him because he will CB, DLV and overall be a dumb ass… He has no game… So I am looking for some 21+ guys to run with and learn the game with…

Enough of my friend’s easy game and other friend’s lack of; during this same time I ended up with a 2 set of HB6/7. I negged one about her shirt and her friend actually laughed at my neg, so I turned to her and negged her. She did a hair flip (IOI) and started to qualify herself (IOI) to me about how she was a great dresser, how she was a great dancer, and etc... I threw the old “you are too much of a nice girl” line and she throws at me “yeah, and my boyfriend doesn’t think I cheat either”. Honestly, my jaw dropped because she might as well said take me home I am going to f-you tonight… I was facing the 2 set (and bar) and knew I needed to separate the girls now. So I lied and said that my friend was looking for the worst dancer of the two of them to dance with because he sucked. They both started saying how great they were, qualifying themselves, and of course I picked one that hadn’t just thrown herself at me. She grabs S-Dog and off she drags him to the floor. The other one I make spin and I locked myself into the bar with her facing me. A classic move. I took her place at the bar, leaned back and watched her totally mimic my body, lean in as I leaned back and etc… I was having a blast and actually using what I have learned. After a few songs I asked her to dance and while we are dancing she starts kissing my neck and etc…I could have kissed her back at this point, but wanted to bounce her, so I waited… mistake #1…The problem was that it was only 12, we hadn’t been there 30 min and this all was going down too fast. I had 2 other guys riding with me, she was with her friend and I wanted to play more. Thinking it was a sure thing, I totally rolled off and started to look around for another set…. mistake #2… Through out the night I went back to this girl, she was still ready, but she got so drunk in the end that she was later thrown out before I could number close or score with her. That sucked!

The rest of Thursday night I only opened a couple of other sets because it was slim pickings; I ran some wing for S-Dog on a fat chick, and number closed her for a goof; also, I practiced my hired gun game on three different bar girls and actually managed to get an email address from one of them. I emailed her, but she hasn’t replied.

Saturday we weren’t going out to Red River, but we decided why not, because we couldn’t decide on where to go. Again got to Red River late and it was pretty slow. I have found that the people that go out on Saturday are different than Thursday. The age is older and more professional, there are more groups of people (3-8sets) and in general they are more open to meeting you. I opened several sets just for fun and had a lot of HB5 and under trying to get my attention. Again, S-Dog was a problem. Love the guy, but he sucks… I was talking to a total HB10, a dead ringer for Eva Longoria’s little sister, and S-Dog did a creepy stalker hang around while I ran game. I was even creeped out by him and tried to dismiss him, but the damage was done… Anyway, despite my friend’s lack of skill, I number closed another cute little girl by telling her she looked like a school librarian and asking her to dance. Haha!

But really my best game came at the end of the night. As we walked out to the car there was a car full of black girls getting in the car near us. I totally 3 second ruled, never broke stride and walked right up and opened them. I think because I was a white guy running game on black girls it was a huge shock to them, but I just walked up complimented them on their style and started with a story about some of the clothes one of the girls had on. I know this isn’t suggested (compliments as openers), but it worked in this case. Two of the girls got in the car, while the hottest one talked to me. I love my brother G-Funk because he pulled some bad ass wing skills, walked up, open the passenger door, sat down and started to run game on the other two in the car to prevent cock block. It was perfect wingman and pick-up moves. We both number closed these girls and as they drove off they were yelling for us to call them so they could lock our numbers into their phones. It was a blast.

Great field report. I only have one thing to mention. Despite what you might hear or read, not all girls are the same. In general, black guys are very direct. Black girls are used to having a guy look them up and down and then offer to buy them a drink. You could go indirect with them, that's fine, but complimenting them is actually better in my opinion. Being a white guy not showing interest isn't going to get her to chase you. You did the right thing.
