It is the asymetrical and sexist IMO.

Consider if a man and a women have unprotected sex and the women gets pregnant.

She can, if she chooses, opt out of her financial obligations via abortion or adoption. She can also choose to abort the man's child.

The man, cannot. He is not given the oppertunity for a reproductive mulligan, and can be legally forced to pay for a child for 18 years (in some states even longer).

Men and women are biologically asymmetrical. There's nothing you can do about that.

If you want to make it legally equal (not sexist), then every time you have unprotected sex with a woman, make her sign a waiver stating that you will not be financially responsible if she gets pregnant.

However, it warrants mentioning that if you have unprotected sex with a woman, then you inject your sperm into her reproductive organ... you know, where she keeps her eggs. If one of your sperm fertalizes her egg, then you make a baby. I know I don't need to explain this to you, but then again you act as if you don't know that unprotected sex is the way you make a baby.

If you don't want to be financially responsible for a baby, then don't inject your sperm into a woman's vagina. It's really very simple.

I agree this is unfair... but that's the way it is. Women get raped... that's unfair. Life is unfair... I hate condoms, but I wear them, 'cos life is unfair =).

Yea... pull it out and pee on her leg instead.

With that, someone sent me this video about what women are capable of, and what AFCs are capable of:

I ask myself WHY would someone do what this guy did, and although I can understand some of it -- there's an emotional bond with him and the child, and I have kids and I understand that, WTF would he MARRY this women who has proven she can't be trusted?

2. Never take anything personally.
3. Never make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

hahahahahahaha

This is fucking unbelievable. UNBELIEVABLE. Fucking WHORE.

She looks so smug about it too, there at the end, with the wedding announcement, like she deserves him. Love truly is blind. Blind as bat.

If I ever do this, please put me out of my misery.

In reality, I'd be gone in 60 seconds, with a huge smile on my face. Sooooo many women on the planet; only one lifetime. Why spend it raising someone else's fun?

Let's not let this stray of into a debate about men's rights. That a topic for another thread.

Now, back to the point.

I have paid for abortions twice! If she has a kid, she has already PROVEN that she is not willing to have an abortion. So, unless you're banging a chick in her late 30s (the age where things can go wrong with the kid because of her age) she WILL try to trap you into paying her bills no matter what she says and the law is on her side.

The more I think about this, the more I want a vasectomy!

Cheap, out patient, reversible. Where is the down side? Here's info:

they say consider it permanent. So take a trip to the sperm bank and save up if you want rugrats later. Just in case.

With our lifestyle, it's a good idea unless you want pups. Just remember, wear a jimmy hat. The snip protects against pregnancy not disease. I had to say it.

Using a fake name is not a contraceptive as it does nothing to prevent pregnancy. I'd say it's more of a financial planning thing :)

Oh, and I really dig that waiver idea. Like, really, dig. I think I'm gonna work up a draft of something (or see if I can find one online) and post it on here. We could even print the waivers on little cards we keep in our wallets so as not to inconvenience us with the burden of carrying around a bunch of fucking contracts (pun intended! haha) every time we go out.
