I met Elana on one of my trips to Austin. She discovered the community via her brother, who was part of the Austin Society. I remember I had an interesting conversation with her. Overall, her opinion of the seduction community is positive.

How did you obtain a copy of her thesis?

I read most of it, albeit rather quickly.

I liked it for the most part. However, on the subject of Feminism, the approach is mostly historical. I think there's an element missing there in regards to how formalized brainwashing through health classes in public school and popular feminist culture end up castrating the average man. She does discuss feminism and anger towards men, though, in addition to Deida and "men's spirituality," so it does touch on the topic.

I personally think that the anger of the feminist is aimed at a certain type of alpha male, and the institutionalization of indoctrination practices aimed at subduing the male into an equal role in response to this anger only works to make passive males more passive and aggressive males more aggressive.

Hi PaperTrail, I really enjoyed reading your thesis. At times, in describing your brother, I felt you were talking about me.

I enjoyed how you described the confusion in modern dating, and how the community provides guidance. Personally, I don't buy all the evolutionary psychological theories. People are more complicated than that. But the community's models for interaction are much more accurate and useful than what comes out of Hollywood. It's helped me a lot.

Getting back to confusion in modern dating, one of the problems I faced was that I didn't know what I didn't know. I was definitely one of the confused, but the unhelpful models in the mainstream media left me thinking there is nothing to be confused about, "being yourself" should just work. Perhaps I should have been reading Playboy.

Hi Papertrail,

I'm coming to Hollywood in a few weeks to give a seminar at the PUA summit, and theer is a film crew coming out from the UK to film me there, for one of our main channels over here.

He is hoping to do the first full documentary on the community I think he may be interested in meeting you, let me know if you'lld be interested.

I enjoyed reading the thesis.

I appreciate that you didn't paint us as a bunch of mysogynists; that would have been an easy thing to do, even in an academic paper.
The four agreements:
1. Be impeccable with your words and deeds.
2. Never take anything personally.
3. Never make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

It was a party at Project Austin. I can't quite remember when, though I do remember suggesting to Deuce that we should go out and pull a few HB's back to the party. It would be a cinch to do. He said that would not be necessary. A few hours of talking shop with the guys (one being your brother - tall guy!) the party was still womanly void. Though one of the guys brought a few in later. Had a good time none-the-less.

P.S. And watch out for Deuce’s drinks!

AFC AdamLondon,
Sure, let them know I’m interested. Any documentary about the community is sure to be interesting.

Mojo,
I’m sad to say I’m drawing a blank for you. I’m sure if I ran into you I’d remember better. Don’t worry, I know all about Deuce’s drinks!
