Poker Night - Saturday August 4

Postby Hunter Rose » Thu Jul 26, 2007 9:33 pm

Door opens at 4pm, cards drop at 5pm, and we'll go to 8-9pm.
No Limit Texas Hold-em, $10 buyin, rebuys allowed (but only after you've
lost the entire previous buy-in.) Basic cash game, not tournament style.

7 seats available, first come first seated. (And I could use 3 extra
chairs, I'm short a few to make it all the way around the table...)

PLEASE bring smaller bills. I don't want to have to hurt people for bringing $20s
and forcing me to break bills for everyone.

BYOB and snacks. I'll have some munchies but I'm not gonna feed all you
sharks a 5 star dinner either. 8)

I live just east of downtown Dallas between Live Oak and Ross Streets on
Liberty Ave, so it's 10 minute walk to Deep Ellum if you want to sarge afterwards.

PM me to RSVP and get specific directions and address.

I'm a very easygoing dude in general, but I've learned that when you are
playing for money, no matter how friendly the game, that it's better to
be very strict and formal about the rules and setup. That way there are no
misunderstandings or arguments that can ruin an otherwise fun game.

Is there a limit on how long we can rebuy? Is cashing out allowed at will anytime?

No limit on how many rebuys, just that you can't rebuy until you have
lost the entire previous rebuy. (None of the loose 1 hand and then do a
full rebuy that are allowed in many Vegas style tournamnets.)

As far as cashing out, I'd prefer that if you want to leave early, it be
announced before the game starts so everyone knows who long they
have to either get your money, or get their own money back. :)
