I can't afford it, but there are still a few seats left.

Thanks for posting this notification. Do not purchase a spot for the workshop yet! Let's try to get a discount for the Dallas PUA Society first :)

Sorry guys, talked to Stewart at RSD who notified they do not do free meets for local lairs/pua groups. He did mention Tyler Durden would make his rounds around the world in a year (including Dallas) to promote his book. That will be open to all.

Okay, let's boycott this stupid RSD workshop, or throw a free/cheaper one at the same time. There are PUAs like Juggler/Brad P/etc, who are much better at teaching this stuff and much cooler. Furthermore, I get the feeling that RSD is more interested in milking as much money from wannabe PUAs than actually helping people achieve success like Juggler, Brad P, and of course our local advanced PUAs.

[/End anti-RSD rant]

WF,

Just because they didn't want to offer a cheaper camp or a free meet doesn't mean that what they have isnt worth it, or even still in consideration. All it means is they are trying to run a business.

Businesses dont stay in operation if they continue to lose money. Thats not their game, theyre in it to make it.

At least thats my opinion

I'm a huge capitalist, and I'm all for profit, but I also think it would be wise to reward those that do things like offer a free meet & greet, or as Juggler did, graciously offer a free set to be raffled off with the proceedes benifiting DPUA.

I am much more willing to attent a bootcamp of someone like Brad P or Juggler as I admire the fact that they're not selfihsly seeking to maximize profit. Besides, for Jugglar's Seminar at $500 & Brad P's at $400 are far more compelling values than RSD (which I've heard a lot of negative things about) for $2,000.

Finesse, I think you'd like this which describes my view of capitalism and the purpose of business.

Profits are one of the most important goals of any successful business and the investors are one of the most important constituencies of the business. Paradoxically, the best way to maximize profits over the long-term is to not make them the primary goal of the business.
