Ugh, avoid this, dude. This is bad on lots of levels, not least of which is that you are suggesting that smart girls generally reject you.

Also I think the negative implication needs to be a lot more subtle.

Hi, I'm new here, and I'm guessing considerably older than most of you. I've been tearing up the boards and laughing seeing so much information that took me years of trial and error to learn on my own right here for anyone to use. I think its great and wish I'd had something like this starting out, it would have saved me a lot of trouble.

In any event, the whole concept of the neg is valid I believe. However, its also something that has to be done with finesse, lest you end up just looking like a tool. A bad neg will quickly reduce your social value in the group and possibly lock you out of the target. So I would advise practicing on non-targets to get your negs down cold.

My favorite neg is age. "How old are you? Oh you're too young for me" or alternately "you're too old for me" Works either way depending on her age relative to yours. I actually tell girls in their late twenties they're too old for me even though I'm in my late 30's. You'd be amazed at how well this works. They almost always begin proving immediately. If you're younger and targeting around your age, respond that "that's too bad I really prefer more mature women that has more life experience blah, blah, blah..."
