The Sex Pistols sucked and they are now legendary. Own it and keep a strong frame. You can even make a joke out of it, as in "you are now caddying for the most famous golfer with a handicap of x"

While I agree it's not a DLV to suck at something you're passionate about...are you passionate about golf? It sure won't be a DHV, so what's the point?

In general stick to the truth... being able to be completely honest in a situation shows vulnerability and is a DHV (good character), so I'd go with the "I fucked up... the tourney is employees only 'cos last year some VP brought in a ringer, so I came up with another plan... same battime, same batchannel... see u then"

Hey, I like the Sex Pistols. But yeah, they did suck. So does most punk but I like alot of that too.

Say, I lived in Texarkana for like 4 years in the mid-90s. I don't know many Xian chicks but the mentality there is pretty strange.
