Lion, if you would critique this, I would be much obliged since I go to school I am limited on what I can take, I don't want to lug around a bunch of different bags at school. but normally I only eat this on a day to day basis:
-1 pouch of tuna
-1 can(small) of pinapple
-medium apple
-handful of walnuts
This looks yummy...
Finesse,
Here is the thing. Diets don't work. It has to be a lifestyle change. Can you see yourself eating tuna and pineapple 2 years from now? I find it unlikely. I used to eat 3 cans of tuna a day and I can say from experience tuna sucks.
Is that all you're eating in a day? If so I highly recommend against it.
If that is just one meal and you have to make do during school I guess it's ok, I'm not sure what else you could do if you don't have access to a microwave or cooler. I would personally not eat the canned pineapple but I'm a fresh food nazi.
Try not to think in terms of "diet foods". Think in terms of whole, natural foods. If it is a whole natural food it is good to eat. Meat is good. Animal fat is good. Vegetable oils are bad. Vegetable syrups are bad. Butter is good. Margarine is bad.
If you can eat it in it's natural state it is probably good for you.
Not eating for a while give you a mental clarity. For this reason I never eat breakfast and sometimes will not eat until 5pm. I highly disagree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think it should be skipped (unless you're hungover). Nobody needs food constantly in their belly. If I were in your shoes I would probably not eat at all during the day and I would come home at night and feast on one meal - meat with the fat, veggies, maybe some rice or potatoes, and dessert if I had a sweet tooth. A meal like that will not leave you wanting. Tuna and fruit will leave you wanting. Eventually you will give in.
Hope that helps. Good luck.
