The thread is mostly used up, but.. Badguy, BR is right, your story is not unique. I started off worse than you. Older, Fatter (I am guessing), divorced, completely out of the game for 12 years and a COMPLETE AFC. In fact, there needs to be a new acronym created for how epically bad I was with women.
I started last March down this path, and I can with 100% confidence tell you that if you small chunk this, then you will get it. Also, the other [B]HUGE[/B] peice of advice I have for you is to find someone that believes in your success and is willing to go out with you. This person doesn't have to serve as a wing, but just as someone who will PUSH you, when you can't push yourself.
The fact of the matter is, there is a reason that people go to college, when they could get the same education for 5$ in late fees at their local library. The reason is that most people can push themselves a bit, but not a lot. Most people know they need a good education, and they will work for it, but not hard enough to get it without some hand holding. This is where BullRun's idea of hunger comes from. If your hungry enough for it, then you will push yourself to learn it by yourself, but I can tell you, it is a harder road to go down, imho.
Finally, I will give you some perspective on pickup, men, and women. A thousand years ago.. there was this guy. He was probably standing bloodied on some battlefield somewhere with a sword in his hand. He had survived a horrible battle and YOU are his descendant. If all the men in your line up till now found pussy's to fuck, survived horrible battles, plagues, and the fucked up world that we have inherited, then that means my friend, that YOU have the blood of champions flowing through your veins. Are you going to sit there and cry "poor me" and dishonor the memory of all who went before you, all the men who led to your birth, or are you going to get out there and claim what is yours?

I always think about evolution/natural selection. Not only did our ancestors survived some fucked up times but they were also able to find a mate. I mean I rather be hacked to death in battle then live in a small village/tribe where no girl would even notice you or want to mate with you lol. That would trully suck balls. We can't blame girls for being the way they are though. Girls nowadays seem like they so much power compared to the good old days when girls knew their place LOL! (or is it that man have become more pussified?)
The college part is true. Very few people have real self motivation else there be a lot more people trying to start up their own business. Persistence is in my opinion a greater virtue then intelligence or good skills. (how many people do we know that are smart and skillful but not successful?)
Anyways this one I'll probably have to tackle mostly by myself. Most of my friends also love getting laid but they don't try that hard and usually make up excuses. Some are and I mostly stick with those that have at least some skills in gaming.
My gaming update: Today I went to Target and saw a few decent opportunities of lone 7 and 8s but like a freakin superAFC I pussed out.(need to load up openers) AMAZINGLY though I am talking to a 7 and an 8 on POF. The 8 gave me her number. (Used the line "Emailing is too slow for me and I prefer texting so can you tell me your number?" BOOM number pull!) Used a lot of material Howie, Rhody and Bull Run had provided. Thx guys :P
