Couldn't even watch more than a few seconds of that. My volume wasn't on so couldn't hear. Did she suffer from some disease or something? Looked like her parent when she was 200 lbs was a fat ass.

How could you let something like this happen? Shouldn't the kid be taken away from the parents? That seems like neglect, maybe even torture on their parts.

No the kid shouldn't be taken away, I don't want the public responsible for this kid. The parent should learn how to say, "No!" It's unfortunate this has happened but it's on the mothers shoulders.

This is an outcome of the progressive idea, "It's for the kids." This happened under the same philosophy that forcefully TAKES money from the parent paying child support so that the child may have "(insert random material object)" at the custodial parents home. The mother felt that by saying "No" she was hurting the little girl because she would throw tantrums.

It's sickening, but you should blame society and the mother and hold them accountable because I sure as hell don't want to be.

This is a tough one for me because, in spirit, I agree with Finesse. But, don't we already provide for and take care of "the children?"

Everyone pays to collectively help "the children" gain an education. Obviously, one could easily argue that having a well educated population is a good thing for all. But, why should I, a man that does not and most likely will not have children, be forced to pay for this unless I believe it to be a worthy investment?

Those of you that have children know that you get tax deductions for those little rugrats. But, as a man that does not and will not have children, I have to pay a HIGHER tax rate because I decided NOT to procreate. Therefore, I'm subsidizing your family and "the children." This hardly seems fair...

The list goes on and on.

I agree, in spirit, to Finesse's argument. However, I ascribe to the idea that the only two people in a society that should be cared for and provided for under virtually all circumstances are the mad man and the child.

It is not this girls fault that she's like this...blame falls directly on the parents. Notice how they weren't even in the clip. I wonder if any one has pointed the finger at them and the fact that they simply let this girl eat herself into depravity.

Once the girl loses weight, if she ever does, I think she should higher a lawyer and sue the fuck out of her shitty parents for misconduct, tortue, and cruelty. I'm sure she'll win.

What a waste. OK if this kid has a disease, like PC said, then that's one thing. But if this kid is normal and somehow got that huge - it's practically neglect and child abuse. That is sick. Goes to show what a luxury good parenting is, and how many morons there are out there.

I agree with the spirit of you all. The parents bear the responsibility of this. If it were a disease they should have sought medical or similar intervention early on.

To me it appears its more of not wanting to say NO. Common case with most parents (including me) is that you want to give your kids stuff that you didnt have when you were growing up because "your parents couldn't afford it" we end up in effect over indulging the kids. True somethings our parent probably couldn't afford but somethings i think they just said NO.

I hope the kid gets better and the parents should get help. I cant think of a cruel enough punishment to serve the parents.

I think when their kid dies before them, that will be cruel enough. But still, I hope I'm wrong.
