Shit Test Identification

I didn't really react either, just a polite yeah thats cool, and went on. However, later this afternoon I started thinking about the interaction and was like.. Oh! That was a shit test!

So how do you guys go about identifying shit test while in conversation? Is this something that gets better with practice or is there more of a method to it? Any suggestions, ideas, feedback is acceptable.

IMO the term "Shit Test" as it is meant to be understood (in the context of game) is generally relevant to very early stage interactions. I am not saying is it impossible ever to be "shit tested" by a girl you already know well, however it doesn't really happen or should not ever.

For the less experienced therefore you are better off looking to identify a shit test within 0-5 minutes of a cold approach and forget about trying to apply this blanket term to e.g. chatting to a neighbor who you already know. If this neighbor is throwing you shit there is something else going on there IMO.

So as I understand and have observed myself through experience, a typical "shit test" will usually come very early on in a cold approach. The test is in response to her own attraction spike and I do basically agree with Tyler Durden in that she is trying to deleverage her state so as to appear more challenging and in particular defelct the weak guys away. After all you are a RANDOM DUDE and have proven nothing yet..

Passing these kinds tests is extremely easy and I will say that when you get very good you will be tested less due to your own superior BL and mannerisms. You can stare away a test or smile away a test. Its all just kind of amusing really. Most importantly it will NEVER AFFECT YOUR STATE. Even if she tells you to FUCK RIGHT OFF.

Lets go for a quick example as it can be super hard to explain things via this medium. There are 100000 variables in a real time situation and I can't detail them all or even many. Lets assume she is there and approachable and I have keyed her already with BL (better to do that first if poss to improve success - this is why I like to open a dude in a group of chicks but I digress).

You cold open a chick. You are 0% vested in the interaction (should be):

Her: I'm a good girl usually *wink* .. Anyway do I know you?

There you go. Classic stuff. The shit test is basic and up front and unavoidable. But the response is obvious. Treat it like a guy just said it to you. Be willing to accept that she might be a total Bitch OR it could be a guise. Act like you KNOW the deal and expect it. Like "here we go again" sigh another shit test. Smile.

Me: Well good because I have met some real barbies around here. Ugh.

Then I might turn away BL somewhat (like maybe turn my body and head slightly and chat to a buddy or check my phone and text someone or just stare into space) to reflect her test has lowered my interest. Likely unnecessary since I could already tell if she like me. Anyway lets go with that - I force her hand. She must re-engage or risk losing me in the event that I am actually a cool guy and just took her comment as being a bit off

Her: (grab your arm) Wait .. so STOCK QUESTION (e.g. Where are you from? or I noticed this about you..).

And away you go.. Test over move along.

Contrast this with your example. The neighbour already knows you and undoubtedly also knows you like her. Your comment about the piano lessons must have come with a ton of other context. There is history and she knows what you want. It's not the same thing.

Your neighbour response sounds more like a flat NO than any kind of test. At least for right now it's a NO. No worries but call a spade a spade.
