Here's one for ya, it takes some balls to pull off but it works great during the day.

(HB reading a book or studying or something. Walk up slowly and deliberately...

PUA: Hi... (stare at her, wait to get her attention)

HB: Hi (polite)

PUA: So, I noticed you checking out my butt over there, and just so you know I am not just a piece of meat. I have feelings, man, feelings. (you have to be obviously joking to pull this off. If you're nervous it won't work.)

HB: (she will laugh here and try to gather herself)

PUA: Look at you, all shy! It's alright, I'm just a sexy man. OK, let's hear your best flirting right now... and GO! (at this point, sit next to her, lock in.)

ANd then you're good to go. You can bust on her attempt to flirt with you from here, or bust on her for being dorky, and then go on to a story or something.

Hey I would like to see you use your opener in person next time you are in town. Seems like it really could set you up to be in an odd position. Girl thinks you are a creeper or whatever. If you want a challenge this is it.

Haha that's funny that you called me out on this! It so happens I'm coming in to town this weekend so your wish is my command my friend... but only if I can actually get you to go out one of these days, and when I say "go out" I mean you gotta give it 110%.

There's no doubt this is not the most "effective" opener in terms of pesky details like the opener actually working, but it is no doubt one of the coolest.

Got a good laugh both times I tried it. Def didn't bomb, but you have to be in the right joking kind of mood.
