Apartment Shopping....

Postby Guest » Sat May 01, 2010 8:49 pm

I was going to post a thread asking if anyone knew of good part of town and or good apartments for pickup and lifestyle.

I didn't expect to be car shopping at the same time... but, well, I've got my hands full.

I'm looking in Dallas, Uptown, North Dallas, Addison. Used to live at Austin Ranch, but looking for a good social circle, etc..

Toss out any ideas.

Pick a relationship, and a car for that matter, that fits in with your lifestyle. If you are a young professional then some contemporary loft type of apartment is a good choice. If you are a down home country boy, a nice shack next to the lake is an awesome choice. Student, then some place that is semi nice next to a college area...

Pick a place that fits your lifestyle/budget and what you have your life put together or, are designing your new life around.

before i moved to where i live now, i was seriously considering the Village apartments off of 75 and Northwest highway. they are a community with 14 apartment complexes, with the typical tenant being young and single.

an enviormen like that would be very complementary to the pickup lifestyle.

from what i recall, rent is reasonable...

I just moved to a new place in the village. been here 3 years, and going on 4. It's a great place to be.

I'm looking for an apartment too, I guess it's in the air. I want to be walking distance to everything, so that's priority #1 for me. I never want to drive to a bar or store again.
