Thought this might be a good read for some of the less experienced members.

Definitely a lot of truth to this and reminded me of a time when I was Mr. Nice Guy!!! A few years ago, I managed to score a date with this blonde HB9 from yahoo personals. Ohh my god she was yummy! I still check her pics out. She could have been one of those girls in a country music video wearing cut off jean shorts and cowboy boots. Long wild looking blonde hair, petite curvy body, with nice big D's beneath her cute and not so innocent face. To this day she was one of the hottest chics I've ever gone out with. So thats all fine and dandy but....... I managed to f' it up big time. At the time I was pretty much clueless.

Our first date went like this:

Mistake #1: I gave her a rose at her front door when I first met her! A stupid fucking rose. What a fucktard I was. I must of got that from the "Bachelor" show on tv.

Mistake #2: We went to Outback for some good steak and beer.......the total bill was close to $70. I paid for all of that. This girl could put away the Dos Equis!

Mistake #3: I was freshly divorced and still suffering from the fallout of that debaucle. This girl picked up on all of that and we had a 30minute Q&A session about failed relationships(specifically mine). Never talk about that crap, total downer. And it definitely put me in the "this guy is not date-able" category............He still has emotional baggage.

Mistake #4: Took her to a concert at House of Blues. Yeah I paid for all of that crap too. Blew another $70. I had pre-purchased the tickets.

Mistake #5 While sitting next to her at the concert, I was checking her out and got caught. When she asked me why I was looking at her I told her how hot she was. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Yeah this did nothing for me. I think it creeped her out. Poor girl.

Mistake #6: At the end of the date I asked her if she wanted to hangout the next day. lol. Now days, these hookers are lucky if they get a text message acknowleding their existance from me in 2-3days following our date!

This girl did commit to a second date but ended up flaking on me! Imagine that. I did finally man up and rip her ass good when she stood me up.

For you newbs out there don't ever do this stuff and for you veterans I hope you had a good laugh! I'll bet most of us have been there at one point!

Yep, I've done everything you listed at one point in my life...never did it pan out and I always wondered why.

Like Fin, I had a hottie dry humping me once but I was too much of a pussy to make a movie. The next day I called her and she told me that she doesn't want to see me any longer because she's really into a guy that she knows from the Internet and that even though they've never met in real life she just can't stop thinking about him. Blah, blah, blah...talk about crushed...

Being a jerk is way more fun. You don't have to tippy toe around any one else and you pretty much get what you want when you want it.
