You're so right about this. I have heard, although not experienced that women in other countries don't try to step up, hey know there place by a man's side. They know what a real man is. I suppose this could be all "grass is greener" talk but I have no frame of reference.

As far as women here, I think I am starting to understand the structure. In essence, it seems a bit hypocritical. You have to pay lip service to some of these beliefs that woman have or your socially marked as a weirdo, but then they (women) respond to being treated like a favorite pet, or an object. It seems a rather unfortunate reality.

Tell them that shit upfront. Sure, some women will call you a misogynist, but you know that the ones that do are the ones that want their cake and to eat it too. Usually, the girl respects you more, even if she does think it's weird that you don't buy women dinner until you 'get to know them better.'

It's not a dynamic that will change, so you have to state your case and tell them upfront how things are going to work. Like I said, the cool ones will be fine with that kind of structure.
