Here was the good 'ole professor's response, exactly what I figured:
Bull Run,
I appreciate you sharing information with me regarding alternate ways of approaching relationships. The course I teach is constructed around the academic research regarding dating, mate selection, relationships, etc. While I am aware other perspectives and approaches exist regarding these topics, the content of the course sticks closely to existing academic research. Information regarding PUAs have not been my academic focus, therefore, I am not currently aware of any academic research that specifically addresses it nor was I able to locate any academic research that addresses it and therefore will likely not include it in this particular course at this time.
Thank you again for the information.

Any one aware of any academic research on PUAs and The Community? I told her that she should, at the very least, check out our Lair to see exactly how scientific we do become.
I plan on crafting a response to her e-mail, but, quite frankly, I'm not sure there's any place to go with her response. Maybe we point out some of the more popular books that we read that are not directly related to PUA. Such as The Red Queen and Sperm Wars.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Her response is the exact reason why I hate shitty ass universities. Sorry if I offend you but Yes, UNT is a shitty univ. The school I went to UTD also sucks balls. The professors only know how to teach from a textbook. They have no idea of the real world or have any experience to call from either.
If I ever have kids and they gain entry to Harvard or Wharton you can bet I will mortgage my house to send them there.
I wouldn't waste another second trying to convince this lady. She is set in her ways and has no care in the world to change or bring in new material. Even if it meant it would help the students, she doesn't care. It would be too hard for her small brain to comprehend.
