most of what you say is true and spot on for the majority of guys. i agree that social game is the key to being sucessful at places that are so pretentious, but i can assure you, if your game is tight enough you dont need to roll up there with a huge group of guys, women or even purchase bottles.
there is a guy in the community that goes by the name of Dr. Mike. He lives in Kansas (but a dallas native) and visits dallas quite often. when he's here, he always calls me to sarge with him. he's best at club/lounge game.
besides me, his "entourage" is mediocre at best (meaning, these guys do not ooze coolness). he usually brings his little brother and another newbie, both with NO game at all. he doesnt drink alcohol, so no bottles for him.
with that being said, he is by FAR the best PUA i have seen in person. he consistenly pulls HB 8-10's every night hes out. sure he gets blown out, but his game is so tight that he can pull hot chicks without all that you listed.
after watching him a few times, the reason hes successful is because he understands social game. he opens guys, girls, waitresses, bouncers and becomes the life of the party. the guy with the table and bottle, invites Dr. Mike to chill with him. the hot girls introduces him to their friends (both guys and girls).
for example, one time, after he gave a lecture in dallas, we all went to Kinki lounge on greenville ave. There was Vector, me and a bunch of newbies that came out with him. that night, i believe he number closed two waitresses, a go-go dancer and i believe another random HB8.
my point is that you dont need to know the owner, have an entourage, have a table or bottle to be successful in these places. if you can game the "it" group(s) in the venue, be accepted and become a part of the group, you will we successful.
that is a fact and i have seen it with my own eyes numerous times (and Vector can vouch)

[COLOR=red]You are completely right and this very consistent with my style too. The point to all the early mm stuff was to raise your value in front of your target. You could either do this with dhv stories, by pre selection of other girls or by your group. My point was that most game equips you to win over one person. Not an entire group, not an entire room, not the whole club. So starting out or if you are not a naturally social person, why not bring your preselection with you. Rig the deck if you're not good at go fish. I only noticed the social aspect of this because of all my service inustry ties (used to bartend and a wine somonier), and promoter type friends. These are type of people and situations i used to hang out with anyways. I also noticed that afc adam and mehow use this their advantage big time. They would always have a party or event at a club that weekend and all the girls that they would number close over the course of the week would get invited out to their event. To be honest this is actually something I've really gotten away from as my game progressed and don't practice as much, but is something I def know a lot about.[/COLOR]
