Got the # to oneitis girl

Hey guys new here and I really need your help on my first post..it went like this..

I had met a girl I had oneitis for who is highly interested in me but I found out she had a bf so I kind of stopped contact with her. I did built rapport with her but never went for the digits because I was an AFC at the time. Eventually I lost all complete contact with her and have not seen her since. I had thought that she and her bf had broken up and I some how got her number through a friend.
So I called her and the conv. went something like this

Me: Hey is this _________ ?
Her: yea, whose is this?
Me: Hey whats up?
Her: nothing
Me: Are you doing anything right now?
Her: no, whose is this?!
Me: Do you have any idea who this might be?
Her: umm...no
Me: How about you guess
Her: Ummmm... I dont know
Her: how about you call me back and tell me who this is
Me: ok
*hang up*
*phone rings*
Me: hello?
Her:
hello?
*gives phone to her bf*
Him: hey I don't know who this is but don't ever call this phone again
Me: hang up SH*T!!!!!


Now I intend on calling her back and telling who this really is (as im not certain that she knows who this is still) and that I was just joking around....the thing is I just saw these two a week ago and she was in tears and they didn't even say a word to each other so I assumed that they're broken up....but apparently not (stupid me)

so I was wondering if there was anything else I can do to screw this up?

so I posted this up onto another forum and one of the members suggested that I just drop it, forget her and move on.
Like ive already done enough damage to myself and all of her and his friends know about this, (although im not positive if she knew who it really was when I called her..)
So I should stop contacting her period.

So as far as I know this is the first time ive ever attempted to contact her so I'm not sure but I really see it as two options....

1. Call her back and explain that I was just joking and confess to her who this really is and ask her if she wants to hang out sometime probably "as friends" (now that I know her bf and her got back together)

2. Act like it never happned dont contact her again as ill probably never see her in my life again unless I actually try to initiate contact with her and then only if I do see her again I ask her for her # and start from there?...

i'm really leaning towards option #1 but in your honest opinion what do you guys strongly suggest I do?...For the sake of my rep and ego..I honestly don't want to look like a desperate jack @$$......

Now, if you must talk to her again, then maintain a strong frame. Don't apologize. Point out the rude behavior of "some guy who grabbed the phone" (let her clarify who it was. Maybe it was her brother, maybe it was her BF and she'll hide that fact, maybe it was a stranger, you never know). Create an expectation she will want to live up to. Something like, "whoever that was, he rules your life with an iron fist. I thought you were more independent than that."

She knows my # now. I called her cell and I figured she wasn't picking up because I was blocking my caller ID. I unblocked it and called her and that is when this all happend. Otherwise she wouldn't have been able to call me back. This is probably the first time she has ever cried about him so im not sure what he did to make up but whatever he did, it fucking worked like a charm. I would send her a text message but everyone on every other board that I posted this up on says to NEXT her and that I shouldn't call back and just drop it. Besides she has a one of a kind name and there is only one other girl that has her name in my school (and shes ugly and fat) so its pretty obvious which girl im going for.

And just for the record guys I know it is pretty standard for you to go meet other women when you have oneitis on a girl but I've over come that with her and made it clear that I don't need you but I want you to her. Why do you need a girl to make you happy? You should first work on your own inner game and make yourself happy, because until you do that, you're certainly not going to meet a girl that can make you happy. A friend once told me "If you're not enough without a girl, you won't be enough with one".

If you want to prusue your one-itus, that's fine, but do it in a direct way, not the AFC way. You have to be willing to lose her.
