What is step one for all this stuff?
Can you recommend books or instructors?
I see every once and a while that Instructors are necessary to get good, do you need a boot camp or 1-on-1.
Not sure if I have the money for that.

Bootcamps are a personal decision. Necessary if you feel it is...but NEVER jump in one without spending time learning this stuff on your own first. Many here have progressed greatly without professional assistance. The key is what you do with the info. Having like minded friends helps a ton too! Come out to the meet up tomorrow. Welcome!

Step 1: Admit to yourself that you need some help and that it is ok to be learning this stuff.

Step 2: I would advise reading the game as it will put you into a good mind set.

Step 3: Grab a couple other books and read them over time. 48 laws of power comes to mind.

Step 4: Devour the internet on this topic. There are some decent message boards with decent information. Read everything you can find. Know that some of it is bs but there are good points and information throughout.

Step 5: Before you get information overload go out and try some stuff. So basically somewhere between step 1 and this step you should have already gone out and attempted to talk to women. This step is very crucial in your development. Don't just sit around and read. It will do you no good. So make sure you ACT.

Step 6: Using your data from actually being out and talking to women read some more. Message boards and blogs.

Step 7: Get your ass out as much as possible. Use your time wisely when you are out. Try to have fun first and make pickup second. Come out prepared with new openers you are going to try for the night. Set some goals and try to achieve them.

I think that is good for now.

Well stated PC.

There is a publication that i downloaded called "Learn to Pimp" by KillaPetehog. Its got a picture of the Bernstein Bears on it. It is a collection of ideas and advice from several guys. It talks about rejection, self improvement, attitude, body language, and the female mind. It was very helpful when I first started. Sorry I don't have the link for it.
