I agree with Lion, religion is man made. You wouldn't be christian more than likely if your parents were not. If you were born in the middle east, more than likely you would be muslim. We are the product of our environments. It was all made back in the day to try and explain things humans couldn't explain. Christianity is no different than roman mythology, it was made up to explain the way things are. It's up to you what to do, if you don't want to sleep with a girl...don't. If you do, then do. I'm not seeing the conflict.

And alphamo I think the only guy that has ever lived that is named jesus is the guy that mows my lawn every thursday.

the was i see it is as long as you are making forward progress to becoming the person you desire to be, you are doing alright. you can never out evolve yourself. yesterday is gone so dont get too down on yourself, and you dont have tommorrow so dont worry about it. live today and enjoy it. pursue your happiness by doing whats right for you; as you yourself are the only person who knows what that is.

i believe that organised religion is great for those who have found it beneficial. some have even found true happiness from such religion and selfishly i am even jealous of those individuals. contentment through cults is not fathomable for me as it defies logic. i have to write it off as simple minded. organized religion is man made for stupid people who need strict guidelines in order to do what is right. all religions be it judiasm, catholicism, scientology, taoism, budhusm, energy, mormanism, islam etc... they all have one major teaching. choose good over evil to obtain happiness. i dont think that one should need to be peg-holed to abide by such rule nor do i think that evidence should be required to acknowledge that you have choices everyday: some for better, some for worse.

Whether sex is against your religion depends on your interpretation of the bible. The old testament explicitly says no but as a christian, jesus freed you from the jewish laws of the old testament. That's why you can eat pork and don't have to eat kosher like jews.

It definitely is not adultery. Adultery is defined as breaking your marital vows and having sex. You can not commit adultery as a single person.

There is nothing in pickup that says you have to sleep with women.
