This has always boggled my mind.

Why do you so many of you tell your girls about the game and the community.

I just can't figure out why you guys do this.

I have never hinted at let alone told one girl.

Please fill me in as it seems that almost everyone on here tells every girl they ever sleep with or game about this.

lol, makes for good conversation! Telling your girl about this stuff is like playing with fire, it can be dangerous but fun! :-)

I told my girl about some of this stuff and pretty much dug myself a hole. I eventually got out of it but it didn't do anything for my player reputation. I doubt I'll tell another about it. I tried to convince her that she uses some of the same tactics on doctors she tries to sell product to but she didn't exactly agree! lol.

I've only told one or two, and they found it highly intriguing.

I will say that if you do tell a girl about it, she's got to be really secure, and she's got to be really cool. Almost to the point of her being considered one of the guys.

I wouldn't tell every girl because some girls simply cannot process it.

I don't see the issue in it at all. If you frame it correctly, i.e. I joined the Community to improve my lot in life and had I never done this WE would not be HERE right now, then the women think about it a little differently.

I don't tell'em... and to anyone other than my best friend and a couple of female friends who are just that, you guys are just a group of online friends I hang with -- sorry I guess that makes you my dirty little secret hahaha.

For myself: I tell them because it is something that is apart of me. Its something I learn, teach, and practice. If she wants to hang around she needs to know what's up. This filters out the ones that might gimme shit later. The trick is to be good at this. U don't tell a girl u make music, if you're jus learning how to play. U don't tell them ur rich if u jus won 5dollars from the lottery. Some ppl can claim this and make it work. Others are jus out of things to say.
In my experience, girls tend to relax, once they know, that I know how to handle a woman. If she freaks out, then she's closed-minded, looking for an exclusive reltionship, or has low self esteem.

Leave claiming to be a pua, to the real puas.

I ran into one of the guys ex-fucks. I had established attraction, and had her really sweating me. @ one point somebody brought up my pua deal and she literally vomited this guys name out of her mouth. "He wasn't shit, and that pua stuff is a joke"

Even though she realized that she was ready to do bad things to me, she had a bad taste in her mouth from the last guy" that's a situation...

I've always wondered this myself.
I've never told any of my girls.....I don't find it necessary.
One or two have gotten the idea, but it has never been a topic of conversation.

I suppose if I where to find a girl that I made a good connection with, I'd tell her, but outside of that I see no benefit or point in trying to explain it.

Granted, my life is not quite as dedicated to 'gaming' as some people I know from the boards (and I say that in a respectful, not condescending, way). ......so for me to explain that I am part of a community that helps me understand how to pick up women; it just seems out of place.

One of the reasons why I don't often bring girls out with me when I go out with a group of community guys is that I don't like having to explain "whats a 'set'", or "whats he mean by that?".

Sure I could tell her what it means with a strong frame and make it a non-issue...but why even bother with it?

Like Solace up there, I tell because it's a huge part of my life. I hang out with a lot of you on a regular basis. I receive phone calls, txts, emails, forum message, etc etc about stuff (and I check them all often.)

I only tell when a girl gets to a certain point. If I'm gonna bring her around you guys, she's gonna know before hand. I think it also comes down to me looking at my involvement here as a positive, because I'm much more willing to bring this out than why I got in trouble in college.

Are you embarrassed that you prefer to have a game plan when looking for your quality woman? I'm not.

i havent told any girls about the community, but i love hanging out with the community guys and will hopefully build friendships over time. having said that, if i were to get in a ltr and start bringing her out to meet you guys, then i will inform her about the game and the positive aspects of the game and how it has impacted my life.

like BR said, she has to be really confident and secure, because if not, shell ALWAYS freak out when im out with the community guys...

To learn from them and get their thoughts on stuff, it's usually pretty interesting. I love talking to smart girls about what gets a girl going, how girls act at bars, the whole psychology side of this is just fascinating and i love talking about it.

Also, to be at peace with yourself - to have something in your life that you're ashamed to admit to the rest of the world is a crack in your house of confidence. You should be able to admit everything proudly and loudly, otherwise you're either externally motivated, which is a lack of confidence, or it actually goes against your values, in which case you shouldn't do it.

Third, it's a matter of the degree to which you're close to someone. If you and a girl really like each other, then it just feels amazing to open up and show her your skeletons. There comes a point in a relationship where she's not going to hate you no matter what you say as long as it's honest and heartfelt.
