Yeah, a reward should never be necessary. No offense, but you're time is NOT that valuable so as to not do something for your fellow human without compensation. I could be wrong on this on, but the fact that you actively participate in a forum devoted to picking up chicks lends me to think that your time is worth about as much as the toilet paper I'm getting ready to blow my nose on.

How would you feel if you lost your phone and someone had this attitude? They would rather put your phone up on ebay instead of returning it to you. I don't think you would like that much, would you? At least have some decency to return something thats not yours. Remember that saying treat others as you would want to be treated? Well its true. So when you lose your phone or wallet, expect someone to steal all your credit cards and cash and not return it, because if they DID return it, they would be going out of their way and they don't know you from a hole in the wall.

Sigh~ ok, I've been ignoring this all these times because I didn't think I'd really think it important enough to clarify, and it's a bit personal for me. first of all, I'm not Christian so the time of the year means nothing to me. second, I left it completely up to her (I would have given it to her even if she didn't give me anything) but considering that this phone is expensive as hell and I *could* be the asshole to sell it or keep it for myself, she *should* show some gratitude (you guys seriously don't think it's rude to not give a reward? really? I mean, this isn't exactly a $50 item I'm returning here). initially, I thought there was probably insurance on the phone anyways, but after looking it up, I found out that ATT doesn't insure them. I don't need the bad karma of screwing her out of a $500 phone). also, this is the same week that Both of my cars broke down and I lost my job, so I'm running out of money. when I say that I'm "going out of my way" is because I'd have to either borrow someone's car to get it to her (as it might be creepy to have her come to my place) or walk to somewhere to meet her (I ended up walking)

and also. My time *is* valuable there were several things going on that required my attention. I'm of the belief that the value of your time and the value of your work is a direct reflection of the value of yourself. to say that my time isn't worth anything is like saying that I'm worthless.
