Everything's bigger in Texas.
Including racism.

Am I missing something? I find voting (especially in texas) is pointless because of the electoral college. If you vote democratic or republican, texas' electoral votes will be republican (same with california, it will always be democratic). So...my vote really doesn't count. It doesn't go off of popular vote for presidential elections, we seen that in the 2000 elections.

I didn't vote. I couldn't reward the Republicans for their fuck ups and I couldn't vote for the Democrats after they sued to get Nader off the ballot last time around (which pretty much makes the enemy of democracy).

Besides, I don't follow politics anymore. I used to listen to talk radio all the time and all that does it piss you off. I am much happier now that I don't waste my time. There really isn't any good neutral media source so I don't bother. Also, very few people can have an actual unbiased conversation (if not unbiased, at least a mature and open minded one) when it comes to politics (where they are speaking based on their own ideas rather than parroting what they heard or read).

I'm not voting in this post because I believe my vote won't count. ... Oh and I voted Libertarian in the actual election so my vote didn't count there either.

I only talk politics in person and then only rarely. There are 3 things that are better done than talked about. voting, praying and fucking.

'nuff said.
