Need Advice....

Background on this girl (let's call her HB texter). We met a few weeks ago, and I number closed. Playful texting back and forth, but nothing really overtly sexual. Then I went on vacation to Los Angeles for two weeks, and kind of broke off contact with her. Ran into her again when I got back, only I was on a date with another girl. It was a weird evening and I definitely sensed some jealousy from HB texter, who called me later that evening as I was taking this other girl back home for the f-close. Needless to say, my hands were full and I couldn't talk. I figured that would be the end of it.

Not so.

Last Friday, I sent out a mass text to get people out to this party I was going to and I included HB texter onto the list. She texts back saying she can't go because she's out of town. That night I lose my phone. Today I get it back, and what do you know.

There was a Saturday afternoon text:

[i]lots of hotties in chicago. [dj name] was fabulous last night. [different dj name] tonight. i met a guy who uses an american flag 4 a blanket. he has freckles on his flesh[/i]

Obvious shit-test, attempt to make me jealous. But I couldn't respond because I didn't have my phone. But the very next day I get an even crazier out-of the blue text:

Sounds drunk in this one, but it came in at 2:00 in the afternoon. i'm taken off-gaurd by this, because based off our previous interaction it seems a little too sudden. I'm not sure how to react. I know what I would've said had I gotten it that day, but days have passed (didn't have my phone all week) I'm not sure if I've blown this one or not.

Any advice?

I'd say this is a great example of the good things that can happen when you put a girl on IGNORE! Obviously you showed you had value when you were on another date and it played into your hands. She's interested by the fact she told you about the flag boy.

Start texting her. Just ignore that last one. Sometimes those ho's will trick you so I wouldn't respond to it.

Sounds like she does want the validation of knowing she can get a reaction out of you (which she hasn't gotten). But that could be all she is looking for, so she can know that she "won" by getting you excited, and then snubbing you. Hard to say. Tread carefully, and don't play her validation game unless you are getting what you want.

Well, I ran into her last night and she immediately apologized for it, but in the vaguest way possible. Something like, "I'm sorry about that after party." I was like, "What after party?" And she was too embarressed to explain, so I let it go real quick and kind of pretended like I didn't know what she was talking about. Chatted with her and her friends briefly about other shit, and then avoided her for most of the evening. Said goodbye to her like nothing had happened. Played it pretty cool.

I think I tend to side with Vector on this one and might want to cut her loose. No big deal, plenty of other fish in the sea.
