The "B Word"

Postby TheAwakened » Thu Apr 26, 2007 12:51 pm

I've decided to try and stop using the word "bitch" to describe women, at least seriously.

For one thing, if we're striving to be PUAs, we should try to avoid demeaning women. We're devoting a lot of time to getting good at trying to attract/seduce them, so it doesn't make sense for us not to appreciate them as much as possible. Even if a girl blows you out in the most hateful way possible, it's not going to help your inner game any to dwell on the negative interaction that you just had by calling her a bitch.

By calling a girl a bitch because things don't go well, you're absolving yourself of responsibility for what happened. As I understand it, we're supposed to take charge of our social interactions instead of leaving it up to others. When you dismiss a girl as being a bitch, you're saying that her demeanor is what actually controlled the interaction. You're putting the responsibility on her instead of stepping up and admitting that you likely could have done something differently and had a better result. Learn from your mistakes, don't just blow them off.

Way back when I just started out, one of the first, refreshing things I found was that girls are not bitches. They just protect themselves with the "bitch shield" to ward off all the bothersome guys that keep hitting on them. In all actuality, they are fragile, friendly, wonderful beings. And that is the better frame when approaching.
