[quote1222300077=Vector]

The biggest problem is early in an interaction, a woman won't have much to go on. It can be hard for her to tell the difference between supplicating and just being good to people, but she is forced to make a decision. These are the times when you might have to "mix the sauce" just right, in order to not be mischaracterized. But aside from that, as long as you don't give up your strength or independence, you can be as nice as you want.

I have found that women will in 99% of cases give you the benefit of the doubt that you are a cool guy unitl you prove otherwise. It's kind of like how we often think women are hotter farther away and why most guys think a girl with clothes on is sexy.

There is an intrigue factor here as well.

Therefore I don't entirely agree that you need to "mix the sauce" just right in order to not be mischaracterised. You don't need to DO anything.

About whether you are cool in general, perhaps. But whether you're being nice because you want her to like you, no.

Specifically, if you are nice and give her a compliment, or perhaps buy her a drink for example, as to whether you are being independent and doing your own thing, or whether you are trying to get her to like you, she will assume you are hitting on her, trying to get her to like you, because it happens to her all the time.

I would say the whole point of negs is to proactively establish your independence in her mind. To establish that you're not trying to get her to like you. Once you have established that, you can be as nice as you want, on your terms. If she thinks you're trying to get her to like you, it comes off as very unattractive.

Right but under what circumstances would you buy a girl you don't know a drink unless A.) you are TRYING to get her to like you or B.) see option A. C) you are a pushover and you give in to demands way too easy

I guess my point is that there shouldn't really be a "change" in your style from teh minute you meet a girl to your "Day 47" or whatever, it just ought to be ingrained in your head that you don't need outside validation and that your gestures of goodness (like drink buying) have some real value.

Solve it from the inner game out, that's the point I'm driving at.

Grimm, you're right.

Vector, you're right.

I know it sounds weird to say it that way, almost like I'm playing both sides. I'm not.

Grimm -- I've taken the Popeye stance...I am who's I am. BUT, sometimes that's just too strong for the world to accept. So, I sell myself out to the masses from time to time. Gradually I build myself back up to where I was before, but I make it easier for them to swallow. I guess it's the Sweetner Strategy.

Vector -- I agree with you as well, BUT only if you can come to the same ultimate conculsion that Grimm and I have come to...the most attractive person in the world is the REAL YOU. Sure, sure figure out a way to make it easier for the rest of the world to swallow, but in the end you are you. I think we're on the same page here...

Random Thought...

I wish I had more money...fuck 'wishing' I'm gonna find more money!!!!!
