Brad P. intro

Hey y'all

Brad P. here. I'm gonna post a few things on the lair here and talk to you guys a bit, so let me tell you a little about myself.

I'm in NY right now, but I travel quite a lot, and have been to Dallas a few times. Last time I was there I was in a bar room brawl, haha, fun town.

I'm 29, tall and gangly. Average looking guy, but with freaky rocker style. I started learning pickup about 2 years ago and I've been doing seminars and live trainings for about a year.

I was super dorky in HS. Got a few girls here and there in college. I did activities I thought would get me girls- music, sports, etc. It kinda worked, but things took off much faster when I learned to do cold approaches.

When I decided to learn how to do cold approaches I went out 7 days a week and did approaches 4-5 hours a day for 8 months. I sarged alone always. To this day I still never work with a wingman. During that time, I was not aware that the "seduction community" existed. I read a few DYD newsletters and took it from there. As a result, I developed a method for myself which is customized and original. I became very proficient at approaches and follow up during this time. Due to the fact that I was traveling on business, I had to teach myself to get a woman in the sack in 2-6 days, depending on how long I was in town.

The next phase of my development was to add more technique for single night seductions. I took a few months to focus on that and I had some amazingly wild times doing it. I got to a level where I could usually pull a girl in the 7-10 range from a night venue about 50-60% of the time. Number closes were now easy, I could get 10 numbers a night if I tried, but I decided to learn a new skill instead.

Along the way I learned to manage MLTRs and to have a positive experience with all women. Now I generally keep about 5 MLTRs in rotation, but it can be as many as 10 or as few as 3 at times.

My latest interest has been 3somes. I've devoted some time to learning how to get 3somes, and I've had 3 this month. I have LRs on FastSeduction.com if you want to know what went into them.

There are parts of my game that I'd still like to improve. More importantly, I believe in having fun and living life to the fullest along the way.

As far as being part of the "community" I was teaching this stuff before I was aware the community existed. So I stayed out of it for a while. Lately I've been getting more into it because my classes have been completely taken over by community guys. In the beginning it was zero community guys, all beginners. Any community you get into can become dogmatic if you take it too seriously. In my work, I see myself more as a motivational speaker than a pro PUA. I'm looking to help people, not feed my ego. I have been teaching people skills and personal development for a very long time. I've had previous careers as a social worker, basketball coach, counselor for kids with cancer, psychiatric aid, and a career in the music business. Teaching men about dating and relationships is more of the same because I'm still helping people be their best.

I know a few guys who are great naturals. I've interviewed them and seen them work. This is one of the main sources of how I learned my game. There's things going on out there you guys would not believe....and from guys who have never read any of the things we read. I've learned techniques from those guys and I teach them to people as well. I know one guy who does Gunwitch Method exactly, but he has no idea he's doing it!

Hmm what else. I have written about 200 or so posts on FastSeduction.com. If you want to learn about how I work you can read those. There's no archive for Brad P. on FS so you'll have to do a search. Or maybe formhandle will make an archive if enough people ask him to.... the purpose for me being in that forum and this one is to give back to the community which created much of the material I benefit from. Common questions- people always ask me if I've read the game. I have read it. I find it interesting but really light on anything you can apply in the real world....people ask all the time if I've studied with Mystery, I've never really worked with him or read any of his books. I've been mistaken for him a few times as well, which is weird cause we don't really look alike. People always ask me to sarge/wing. I always sarge alone so don't take it personal that I don't wanna wing. Sarging alone is a better way to build your skills I think. I'm actually not even going out as much as I used to these days because the areas I'm working on are not things you build up while sarging....

ok a few random tips-
-don't read too much stuff, you'll clutter your brain. Go out and try stuff out. I became very proficient in PU after reading less than 100 pages.
-if you're gonna read and study, pick on thing and work on it for a while.
-If you read FS.com now, check out the archives, it's much better than the forum. TDs archive is great. I highly reccomend it.
-Be focused. This stuff is hard to learn! It takes dedication and hard work.
-experiment and have fun!

Oh, I'm speaking at the Cliff's List convention in a few weeks. Has anyone here been to that?

Brad, good to see you. Let us know when you are in Dallas.

As for reading too much, I can't read enough. It is good to read as much as you can so it will register in the subconcious and manifest itself later, in the right moment, as to what to do in a social situation/sarge. The subconcious is a powerful thing.

Cheers,

lots of reading will help you if you have a lot of field exp too.

I suggest a 1:1 ratio. So if you're in field 5 hours a week, you should read no more than 5 hours a week because the info takes on no meaning without field exp.

I see a lot of students who are spending 20 hours a week reading, and 3 hours in the field. They don't get too far. They're on information overload 24/7.

I suggest if you are going to read, you must exercise intellectual discipline. There must be a purpose and real life context to your reading. Take one piece at a time and apply it. For example, if you read gunwitch method, don't move on to the next book until you habe implemented GWM or given it an honest enough try to say "this doesn't work for me."

It's very tempting to read 20 hours a week. This stuff is very entertaining, and there are heros to worship and gossip about. Are you here for entertainment and gossip? Of course not! you're here to succeed with women. So use a 1:1 ration as a guide for this, and always exercise intellectual discipline in what you're taking in.

Agreed.

There is no substitute for in-field experience.
First focus on the mastery of a method before beginning another.
