Field Report from Red River Thursday 8/7

Red River was pretty much off the hook last night. Lots of fine hunnies, lots of sets. If you haven’t sarged this place, you should. It’s super easy to open sets there, and when you need to isolate the girl to build more attraction or comfort, you can just go dance with her. I’m pretty good at county dancing, and after I danced with the chick, I was essentially locked in for the number close (assuming I laid the proper foundation before). I HIGHLY recommend learning how to country dance – It can be a great addition to anyone’s game. Instant kino, chicks love it.

Another thing I’m discovering is the weakness of opinion openers. I’ve been using more direct openers lately and my success rate has gone up quite a bit. These openers are definitely more risky, but they set the frame for instant attraction. Don’t get me wrong, in certain situations, opinion openers are the way to go, but the direct approach can be pretty damned awesome.

Another revelation: what you say when opening really matters very little. What matters is that you deliver it with confidence and the appropriate level of energy. This is pretty cool given the fact that a lot of guys spend a lot of time trying to figure out the best things to say when opening. As an example: last night I opening a chick what was conservatively an 8.5. I walked near her, smiled at her, and motioned for her to come here. She did. Then I pointed to a sign on the wall that was all the way across the room (a long ass way away). I said, “Do you see that sign over there?” She said “yes.” I said, “I was standing right by that sign when I first noticed you standing here.” I said this with a smile, confidently, and in a little bit of funny way. The chick giggled a little bit, asked me my name, and we immediately started bullshitting and flirting. After a few minutes I danced with her. After the dance, I told her I had to go but I wanted to see her again. She said absolutely, and gave me the digits.

My opener totally set the frame for attraction. She immediately knew I was talking to her b/c I was interested, and she saw that I had the balls to openly tell her that. All I had to do was escalate that attraction and then build some comfort. It was easy to do once that frame was set.

I agree man. I can country dance too and it makes it much easier to game. I mean shit most of the girls are at that place to dance ! I usually dont number close until after the second dance though. I'll run something similar to what you described then go dance and begin to build more attraction while doing so but at the end of the dance(if she was decent at dancing) I'll tell her it's hard to find a good dance partner and I'd love to dance with her again later in the night. When we dance again there's never any resistance to the number close or lately even a kiss close at that point. But of course there's always exceptions and props if you're number closing that fast. I suppose sometimes my pickup really is just asking girls to come dance.
