I don't know what to say here... anybody got a clever thang to say??? It's a hard to do.. should i let her know I am hitting on her? or what?

It looks fine to me. Dude, just say whatever you want, I don't think you should attach particular importance to any one sentence. Say whatever and as long as it's not evading the questions or looking scared or whatever, it should be fine. i.e. "I'm only hitting on you because you sound like you might be rich" or something iono. or "no um i'm gay"

If you have already qualified her you can say you are hitting on her. If not, I personally wouldn't. You could call her a copycat, ignore it completely, or change the subject. I agree with Acuity that any one sentence won't make or break you though.

One peice of advice I got from Finesse is to match the length of her texts. You have a couple responses that are really long and this portrays that you are trying harder than her. I used to do this as well and I didn't think it was a big deal until a girl I wasn't that interested did it to me. It was a turn off because she was trying so hard to keep the convo going. I don't think it is make or break here but keep it in mind.

EDIT: you might say: "I'm trying to decide if I want to hit on you." This puts you back in the drivers seat and she may qualify herself.

I use emoticons all the time. I think they are good and girls respond well to them :). Anyway, just try to shorten up the texts a little bit and make sure you are mirroring her response time as well. Try not to overthink it.
