hey so one of my first field reports. usually, i'm up at school going to parties and the occasional bars and stuff....i kind of know everybody already so it's easier for me to talk to ppl since i already have an "in". This summer, I want to really expand my skills and be able to go back to school in the fall and just be able to blow the competition away up there.

So I've been going out to Dallas here and there. Tonight, I went out with a cousin of mine.....he has no idea what the game is or how to pick up a girl at all....but i brought him along 'cuz he's kewl and my cousin. First, went to Fuse where I knew a guy there....chatted for a bit...wasn't too busy at all.....wanted to get a warm-up set before I bounced. Two Asian girls, both at 7's, were sitting in chairs....sat across from them and said to them, "Did you guys just get out of a black and white party?" (One had an all white dress on...the other all black) They looked at their clothes to acknowledge that they did in fact have black/white outfits on.....so they say "umm....no". Still being a little unknowing, "okay...just wondering." Then one of the girls says, "So anyways...." and continue on with her story. Luckily my cousin sat beside me right after that so it looked like I was just waiting on him.

Then went to O-Bar. Had a little better success here. I actually wrote out about 5 diff openers I could use....and I was going to tally them up and see what worked and what didn't. My first set, it was a girl's bachelorette party and she had on a fedora....I go up to her and say, "oh man....i've gotta get a picture with you with me wearing your hat." She says, "OF COURSE!!!". Take the picture and I get her story from her friends about the bachelor party and stuff.

Later on, saw these two girls looking like they were from Hawaii.....was going to use the line "Hey are you two from Hawaii" blah blah blah....but since the picture opener went so well...I was just like..."hey I have to get a picture with ya'll real quick".....I actually chatted with the two of them for a while. Nothing much....used something about would they get a tattoo ever....then would they ever get their boyfriend's name tattooed on their shoulder. I was having a lot of fun so I told one of the girls that if I wasn't gay, i would be so into her. Funny thing was....she just got engaged. Wanted to get out of that quickly.

Last set of the nigth happened right at closing time. I saw this girl talking with this guy on the side of the bar....went up to the bar to close out the tab.....guy leaves girl, I pay the bartender....I turn to the girl and say, "man you looked so uncomfortable talking to that guy".....she is like, "I KNOW...I was!!!" we talk for about 10 minutes....

I really wanna get good at this pickup stuff or at least be able to escalate and have an idea of where to go with my routine and pickup. I was going to go out with Jersey and Matrix, but I don't have membership status to Candleroom. Can anybody give me some advice on how I can do better for next time or can I go out with some ppl next time you guys go and just observe...take some notes?

LIke i said, i really would like to be on the top part of my game when I go back to school and make an impression on girls I do not know at all.

There is probably a get together this Friday. I am not sure how Vector schedules it but it seems like we haven't had one in a while. I would highly recommend coming out to one of those. My game took after after I did.

Most of the time the meets are just the guys bsing and stuff but you can learn a lot from that. You will see some sets happen as well and hopefully run a few yourself with someone of more experience watching to give pointers.

Maybe you are OVERTHINKING this , I have been on that roller coaster of emotions during the conversation, I think you should make a pull very soon into the small talk, and Create that" Bubble of Love" as i call it with lots of kINO etc. Also it has to do with timing . Women are practical they dont want to get ALL dressed up and then HOOK with a guy at 10 pm , however by 2 am it is a different matter. So what you might try if you are going to be there awhile, is make the INITIAL move, then lock her in , for later, ( the "i choose you " line , or give her cheap prop to hold on to while you get back to her. )
Jersey and I struggled Friday Night at Candle Room just because there were literally 5 - 8 girls and NO more that night.
We wound up at WISH off of 75 / Knox around 1 am which was great , the girls in the corner were celebrating a bachelorette party.

Quick ending , We both kissed closed the girls in less than 5 minutes but THEY were already in our"Bubble of Love".
