I'm almost back

Anything goes

I'm almost back

Well it looks like the ex is going to be heading out to Alabama the weekend after the 4th -- yea! So I will be back in the community. It seems like ages :)

Too bad I will be pretty much extremely broke and without a vehicle until my house in Austin sells. UGH! On the bright side, she agreed to less in total support than I was expecting... so once my house does sell things will be pretty back to normal for me. Now I just have to focus on getting my businesses to make more money so none of that is an issue :) Excited that I'm gonna be back and hanging with you guys pretty soon, albeit probably on a pretty limited basis until I get my financials in order.

Woohoo! Got a buyer on the house who wants to close quick... looks like the wife will be moved and house will be closed on by the end of next week... and i'll still have a vehicle and not be completely broke now. And there was much rejoicing

Take it from someone who buys and sells houses for a living.

Don't celebrate until you are at the title company signing documents.

Otherwise congrads hope it all works out for you.

Congrats man. I got lucky on my house. My ex didn't put up a fight and I even got her to pay the fees to get her name removed from the loan and I kept 100pct of the house. ....Now if those HB9's were that easy to acquire!

playercool, we got lucky... the person buying it just got a cash settlement from a wrongful death suit (funds already confirmed in her account), so they're paying cold hard cash... she's in love with the house and dieing to move in... inspection is already done and went well... she's not asking for any amendments and is going to waive the rest of her option period. She wants in as soon as possible. The only thing we are waiting on now is an updated survey and for the title company to get our payoff info from the mortgage holder... but i know what you mean... i'm not going to believe it 100% til i'm signing the papers... but at the moment it seems just about a done deal... the soon to be ex is going to be departing day of closing (scheduled at the moment for next friday unless there's a delay). we're filing our paperwork for the quick divorce as soon as the company who's doing it gets it to us error free, which should be tomorrow... so in about 61 days i'll be an officially free man ;) support and all that has been agreed to now it's just a matter of getting the last stuff done in the next week -- house is 95% packed... going back this weekend to take care of the last 5% and do a bit of cleaning

Awesome man. That is exactly who you want buying your house. I don't think anyone has ever bought from me and paid cash. I am always sweating till the papers are signed. I can't tell you how many times it is a day away from closing and then bam the people can no longer get a loan.

yeah we got really lucky :) We also got lucky with offers... it's been on the house for 2 months with nothing (the cash lady wanted to buy it before but was waiting for the settlement to arrive)... this last weekend we get 3 different offers, so we were able to use the fact that there were other offers as leverage to get them to increase their offer :)
