If you're a nerd like myself and have been waiting til noon today for the release of Firefox 3...well I'm sure you're getting kinda pissy because the webservers are totally crashed. I'll help you.

Should have downloaded the release candidate available through the sneak peak link before the public release. I did and been using it since 7 this morning and I must say it does seem to load complex pages much faster. I have no data to back this up just a first impression.

*shrugs* I haven't noticed any difference other than the aesthetics...

well...the new auto-complete for the address bar is a little annoying...

Most of the new stuff won't be recognized by the normal user, really (perhaps the speed increase in loading javascript heavy pages...)

Intelligent adress bar also works as a search tool for a word, or tagged keywords from bookmarks

bookmarking got a beefy upgrade....ties in to what I just said above

Pause/resume downloading

Integrated addon search

Integrated spyware/adware protection....
