There are social "taboos" in our society that make many people uncomfortable. I think being able to laugh at them without becoming emotionally reactive communicates intellectual independence as well as a tremendous amount of confidence. It seems especially strange to me that people have little problem making jokes about the holocaust or any of the other countless atrocities that humans have done to one another, but if we touch on one of the key emotional issues of our present day society, such as racial issues, child labor, anything thing in the long list of list of things related to women's rights, a lot of people flip out. IMO their minds are mere castings of the societial mold they were developed in, which to me is sad.
Obviously several people have taken it upon themselves to wildly exaggerate the fact that I on occassion #-close or kiss close a girl few years under 18 (as if that is a magical number)--even to the point that people who have never met me will post something like the above post...perhaps in an attempt to curry favor and approval with other members of the PUA community? I am not assamed of my actions and as such, I simply do not care.
I could engage in an intelligent debate about the issues, pointing out our culture relative to other cultures and other times, make a sold logical arguement that such attraction is not listed as a [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraphilia]paraphila [/link] in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders, and therefore normal...but meh...why waste my time?
Now that that's been addressed, does anyone have any serious questions about anything? :)
