Clothes DO make the man...

There was a show on PBS on this a few months back. One thing I remember from the show is that in most species the females are looking for very specific characteristics in a male and if he doesn't have them....none of the females will mate with him. They are very picky.
some of them have a certain dance they do and it has to be done perfectly in a very specific way.
others look for markings on the male..............it's amazing how picky they are.
Another thing is that the features the females were attracted to were inherently bad features for the males to have, and they theorized that it showed to the women how strong they were to thrive in spite of the obviously detrimental features..........example peacock feathers on the male make them easier for predators to spot...........monkeys with bare chest lose a lot of heat from this area......etc.

Two things about this subject cause they just happened.
I headed up to Republic tonight. During the peacocking event we went there too. Now I already kinda know the girl that works the front door so she just tells us to go in and doesn't id us or anything. But tonight she opens me with hey where is your ring. I loved it. I had on a little dog as a ring that was a Mcdonalds toy or something during the peacocking event.
Tonight I dressed normal and had a pink tie on. I can't tell you how many times that tie worked tonight. One girl told me she hated my tie cause it was pink. Then later that night I was rubbing this tie all over her body and she was loving it. She goes on to say what bad things she would do with it.
I had girls walk up to me and tighten my tie. It was just insane. I am pretty sure I will be heading out to buy more ties. They are just too fucking money.
