Isn't the main focus to always be in control and letting them into your frame? Most of the material within the Game is analytical if you haven't put it into practice. I think this would definitely help because as you use it more then you leave absolutely nothing to chance.

Whose head is being messed with? There's a difference between being in control, and being controlling.

if i had to nominate an aspect of pickup that i could be perfect at, frame control is up there right after social value

ive long used this technique (ie in my pre asf days) to amog, setting a guy up to say something stupid and blow himself out

for example, black guys. stand next to a black guy and ask if its true what they say about black guys. if hes stupid, he'll start talking about his penis to indirectly impress the girl and blow himself out

im going to have to reread this, it fried me a bit before i could really grab all the concepts, thanks
when all else fails...go caveman

yet another example of social violation theory (SVT, lol) at work 'very solid night' (my bold)

Tylerdurden on mASF wrote:...they shut him out and locked up. I walked over and gave them shit for it, and they were so locked up they wouldn't talk to me. We looked like the typical two player guys trying to hard to talk to them, and we were getting that treatment full-on. They were telling me to leave, and being rude. Instead of leaving, I kept pumping with more material, and making little side comments that I thought that they were charming and that I could see why my friend liked them so much. I kept barreling through, as the girls would yell shit like "Well I don't care about this and you're weird to be talking to us." I kept this up until they could feel the social vaccuum that nothing they were saying was breaking my frame, and then went into confession mode like "Listen, I know that a lot of guys come up to you while you're trying to hang out and talk to eachother or dance. And I know they think you're bitchy when you really just do it as a wall to prevent yourselves from wasting your night talking to every single person. But my friend was really shy, and rarely talks to people. The way you're acting isn't cool, and I'm not cool with it. You guys really threw him I think, and I wanted to show him that if you just chill and joke around, that everyone has a good side to them as well. I don't think bad of you guys at all." I did this to give them an image to live up to, and to break the cycle of negativity. This is literally after around 7 or 8 minutes straight of them telling me to leave. Then I talked to them a bit about social dynamics, and immediately once their shield is down and they like me -> BOOM I re-game them.

This was definitely worth reading, it never really dawned on me before how complicated seemingly basic social interactions can be. I also realized that this chick seriously tooled me yesterday, hahaha.
