Speedy from Tulsa...

Postby Guest » Mon May 26, 2008 12:31 am

Hello!!!

My name is Speedy and I'm learning pick up in Tulsa. I actually created a Yahoo Group for Oklahoma because there wasn't one. A few days ago, I was introduced to some damned cool guys from Dallas!! They came from Dallas to Oklahoma City to teach some of the guys there and I drove from Tulsa to OKC Saturday myself. I wish I could have been there for all the stuff, because I know it was excellent, but I just couldn't do it. Work and owning a house and dog and all...

Just to say a little about myself... I learned about The Game about two years ago. I've been slowly but surely progressing my skills and education in how to be more social. I was a complete loner growing up. By complete, that's just what I mean... I had literally no friends from 1st grade all the way through college. I didn't talk to hardly anyone. I had two girlfriends in high school... both only for a few months. I had a couple of girlfriends since, but even then, it was few and far between. I remained a loner until I read The Game.

Now, I'm learning about how people interact and talk to each other. I'm learning about eye contact, about relationships, about friendships, and about how people relate to one another. That's perhaps why it's slow going for me. there's so much to it that most people never realize and take for granted. But, I'm having a nice time learning all of it.

I hope to learn and to also be able to help others to learn also. I really love the idea of a community of men, working together, to better themselves and each other.

(PS: I call myself Speedy because I run a speeding ticket website... speeding is sort of a hobby of mine... ;)

welcome to the board. If you take the time to really listen and internalize what these guys have to say you can learn a lot. Especially for those that are self taught its sometimes good to go out let them watch and really take to heart what they try and teach. Its even harder to throw away what you have learned and pickup new info especially when you think you know whats going on. It was a problem that i had pointed out to me many years ago. I dont know how much you learned this weekend or what your night was like as i didnt see a FR, but i hope it was of benifit.

It was good to meet ya. Welcome to the Dallas board. We have a great and tight group of guys here, and something is always going on. Hopefully, you can find some ideas to take to OK from here. Cheers!
