abear, I suggest you tone it down. If you were at all active in the Dallas Lair in real life then you would understand that Grimm is one of the more serious, active members of the Dallas Community.

I doubt any one has met you in real life from our lair. As such, I recommend you back off.

I think smirks was serious in his post. I think I've heard him use that opener before...

Secondly, your opener is not designed to get the girl (unless you use the apocalypse opener or something like it). It's purpose is for you to be able to break the ice and use the rest of your game to pull the chick. So if you usethe opener above and she giggles, that's definitely enough of a reaction for you to neg her or follow up with something that can move the conversation along.

Here at the lair, we welcome all opinions and comments since not all the stuff you read on the boards is useful. With that being said, before you critcize someones post, I ask that you think about what you've read before making a comment like the one above. However, if you don't think something would work, feel free to express your opinion on why you feel that way--hopefully something constructive rather than, "your opener sucks."

Here's one that works. It's boring, functional, and easy to remember.

PUA: From there you neg your target and go in to something funny with the group. Don't keep talking about pizza toppings.
