LA area Lair reccommendations?

I got a buddy who lives in Long Beach who is looking for a newbie friendly Lair
to start learning from. Does anyone have any recommendations?

but i came to dallas
ask around in style's or mystery's lounges
There's bunch of Good brothers who live in there
Quest*, Dave Glenn and *F* to name a few

thats the southern california lair which has all the cities. they also organize a lot of things and have a ton of members who contribute. i would tell him to check that one out.
