[quote1209070116=playercool] It is exactly how I would want to look if I ever gained 30-40 lbs.

thanks dude. You should just do it. 90-minutes per day, 4-days per week, and lots of food.

I've been trying to get him to lift for months now. He's right though, girls don't like the huge He-Man types. They love muscle and definition, but when you go above a certain level it turns women off. At the moment I'm skinny as all hell (because I'm always out having fun and not eating right) but when I hit the bars I feel like the most jacked mofo on the planet. One thing I noticed when you came out to Sherlocks for 4 and a half minutes is that your posture needs improving. Stand up straight, don't let your head and shoulders slouch forward, push your chest out. Have pride in the way you stand and have pride in your physique. You worked hard for it. You say women don't notice. Take my advice and women will notice. I said it before and I'll say it again, wear tight shirts. YOU HAVE THE PHYSIQUE TO PULL IT OFF.

Isosceles cheese,

I'm also 5-11. I'm lean. Never eat fried foods. I currently weigh anywhere from 172 to 176.

What I can tell you is, I've been working out an average of probably 2.5 to 3 days, only wieghts, no cardio stuff, for exactly 12 months to this day.

The IOI's I get from women are absolutely amazing. It started last fall and it's gotten better, even though I still weigh the same amount today as I did last October. Ideally, I think I'd like to get to 185 pounds.

I honestly don't think the guy in the pics above is gonna get the kind of IOI's from women that I will. He's bigger than me, stronger than me but at the end of the day, I think the women are less attracted to guys at that level. I can't say for certain because I've never been there, but what I can say for certain is, I'm getting more IOI's from women than ever before in my life. I have no desire to get above 185 pounds and I've read that women are actually less attracted to guys like the one in the pic above.

I just say one more motivational thing about the gym. for 90 minutes per day, nothing else in the world matters but me. it could be 385lb on the bar for DL's, or it could be each pulse of blood pumping in and out of a muscle with the most agonizing pain you can self-inflict, but whatever it is, its the only thing in the universe that matters. Putting up big #'s is awesome because if you didn't put up 10lb more weight on the bar this time, then who the fuck cares? Its pretty cool when you go from what you had then to your boss sitting sitting down in your office asking you about steroids...lol.

Thanks for the note on posture.

I know that all the girls I am friends with keep looking for skinny emo-looking guys. Well, maybe not emo...but you skinny bastards...

Now me, I realize that if I work my ass off, and get into shape, I'll be a damn good looking guy.

There is no reason to not work your ass off and get into shape. Go for it, you will feel incredible.

Oh, I agree. Seeing my weight drop is great, but I also want to thin my belly, build up my arms, and re-tone my legs.

Keep in mind the difference between ectomorphic and endomorphic body types. They are opposite ends of the spectrum. The same workouts that work for an ectomorph (high calorie, lots of lifting) would screw up an endomorph (who needs lower calorie and higher rep, preferrably bodyweight).
