early ejection

okay this is my main sticking point that i have been wrestling for months now. I can open most sets that are out there and 90 percent of the time i get good reactions. But even when I do get good reactions I just eject myself for the simple reason that I run out things to say. Now I have been told to stack up on canned material OR take stand up and improv classes. Now I am leaning towards the improv classes,but I am just curios how did you all get over this point?

When you run out of things to say, ask her questions. Not like "so what do you do", get creative like "If you were a hotdog, and you were stranded on a deserted island...would you eat yourself?"..."what did you want to be when you grew up?"..."What is your ultimate dream?"..things like that. Hope that helps.

This is actually a common strategy of mine....I call it short sets.

I am very big on qualification. My life is busy, I already have a full life of girls and I am very picky.

When I roll into a place, I normally make a couple of laps. I smile at or open any girl I find attractive and see what kind of response I get. I may just move on or have a short conversation before moving on.

Then, after I have surveyed the lay of the land, I go back to the girls that responded positively or that I enjoyed my short conversation with.

When I go back in, it is much easier as I am no longer some random guy. I am someone who either gave them a smile and they smiled back at or I engaged them in some fun conversation and then moved on before I became "that guy" who clings to them all night.

I think you definitely need to get a routine stack down if you don't have one but don't beat yourself up if you eject prematurely. Just go back in later and make it happen....

great solution: EJECT EARLIER. If you open a set and its doing fine, get to a high point where the whole set is laughing or something. Or when you have just said something really interesting. then EJECT. haha I know it sounds crazy but just be like hey it was really nice meeting you all, I have to go live it up a bit but I will talk to you all later.

They will be like Where did that guy go?! and missing you since you left them on a high point. Then you can walk around the club or bar and get other numbers and meet other people. Then come back to them later in the night and they will be like Where have you been?!? and you wouldn't believe how much more comfortable and cool they will be with you. The best thing is you didn't sit there and ramble on and run out of stuff to say.

This is what I do whenever I game a club or bar. The only down side to this is the set may leave to go somewhere else before you get back to talking with them. I view it as a worthy risk though considering you are walking around opening other sets and getting numbers and stuff from others so its not like they were your only option.

Also a few times I have had sets of girls leave after I ejected and then come back to the bar (coincidence? I think not) and start talking with me again.


There is nothing worse than gaming a girl or one set all night and then getting shafted at the end of the night or building attraction and then running out of stuff to say and losing it. This solves both, you walk away you maintain that attraction and mystery and you left on a high point. You have talked to other girls so you have other options and when you come back the girls aren't strangers now they are your buddies.

I call it the "Sienfeld" moment. As George did, leave on a high note.

When I do it, it is more for qualification than for anything else. I already am dating several really hot, have-it-together girls. I don't want to waste my time on anyone who is not unless I am just trying to make new friends.

My goal is to find the best couple of girls in the place and I am not going to do that by talking to the first group of girls I open the whole night.

If I circle the place and do some short sets and nothing catches my attention, I normall leave the venue.
