cocky/funny...holy shit, this is me

Postby isosceles cheese » Sun Apr 06, 2008 6:39 pm

I just started reading up on it a little, and before I get started, does anyone have recommended reading before I just pick something?

so far the only girls I've really hooked with are sets where the girls and I just talk shit to each other. This might work for me with a little more direction.

I read a lot when I got started coaching guys, What I actually enjoyed more than the reading though is Podcasts. http://www.pickuppodcast.com is completely free and I love those shows. Maybe not as information packed as reading but more enjoyable

I am pretty sure it is David Deangelo who coined the phrase cocky/funny.

Look up his stuff.

I was cocky/funny long before I heard of David D.
I reccomend a little time in the service industry to anyone trying to learn this.
How much money you make(tips) are a direct correlation to hom well you work the people, and how much they like you.
You also learn to read people quickly, and develop rapport instantly.

At first, I put this aside, to learn routines and such in the community. It later dawned on me, I was not using one of the things I developed that had made me successful. Now, I'm a total smart arse in sets ;)

Yes, cocky/funny is where it's at. It's the basis for everything I do. I read David D several years ago, way before I knew about the community, and it just stuck.

I bartended at college bars/neighborhood bars/a gay bar for about 5 years, sold cars for a year, then I was a wine steward at a 4.5 star restaurant in uptown for 2 years, so I have that on lock. I'm pretty much a politician in my current profession with a federal agency, so telling senators and congressmen how its going to be, with a smile, is my forte. I guess I need to embrace this and run with it while killing the self-doubt and talk to women the same way i talk to people at work.

edit: now that I think about it, every time I end up essentially fighting/fucking withh a girl, we end up hittin' tha skins. Last night a girl had a double jointed thumbs, we ended up with me comparing her to a Labrador with webbed paws (but you can still be my bitch, lol), then a BJ on the patio at her friend's house...lol. She was a bad ass girl, who loves to fuck with people and be a tacky bitch, I love it.

Look, nobody gives a shit about your life or your situation. Nobody even cares that you have anal fissures. So, keep this shit to yourself, and get the fuck out. Better yet, print out what you just posted it, and send it to me so I can wipe my disabled grandmothers ass with it.

If you read over what playful disqualifiers are, I use as lot of those also.

Also, a great retract line, if you overstep is: I'm just giving you a hard time.
