Has anyone read this? Its really good. Topo inspired me and lent me this book but I was lazy and I got the audiobook (I'm all about time management).
I'm working on comfort and rapport stuff right now since I seem to be able to meet one beautiful stranger every night I go out, but I have problems "connecting".
Some stuff I've learned from this book so far...
1. Mirror neurons and how they relate to social subcommunication, rapport and even social proof.
They mirror others feelings on the inside.
2. Loops or looping which is Goleman's definition of rapport or sounds like it.
Babies and mothers communicate on this level.
Lots more...
There's even a webpage devoted to a game that helps ypu feel less stress simply by picking out smiling faces.
http:www.mindhabits.com
Check it out.
I'm also working on some comfort stuff which I may post as soon as I test it out.
Later
